MAINTENANCE FITTER – AFTERNOON SHIFT | $59.80 P/H | PERMANENT ROLE FROM DAY ONE

Join a leading FMCG manufacturer with a strong safety culture and modern facilities.
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the afternoon shift team in a fast-paced food production environment. This is a permanent, full-time position from day one, offering stability, excellent hourly rates, and no rotating shifts.

About the Role

As part of the site maintenance team, you’ll carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across a variety of automated FMCG machinery. You’ll work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on plant and production equipment

• Fault-find, diagnose, and repair mechanical breakdowns efficiently

• Assist in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

• Follow and maintain strict WHS and food safety standards at all times

• Complete maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with site procedures

• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or plant upgrades

About You

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Australian-recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environment

• Sound knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

• Proven troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safe work practices

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Full Australian work rights are essential
